Next morning we headed off the other way towards the north eastern end of St Feliu de Guixols. You can hire kayaks and sailing boats near where the locals keep their own boats. The information boards nearby describe a famous pirate from St Feliu, 'the Rufo', who captured 4 English ships. It is hard to picture that here in these idyllic surroundings.
